That one lead instrument, didn't blend well. You need to adjust the attitude and sustain, or simply use an altogether different instrument. Lowering an octave might work as well.

Much better than "base invasion".

This song is incomparatively better than base invasion, it actually has a mood and theme...still very slightly repetitive though, and there is a glitch in the song.

Drums are alright, melody is repetitive blah. Didn't remind me of a "base invasion" at all. After the first minute, the song does get better, melody changes but remains repetitive.

Try using soundfonts from Sf2midi.com it's a great soundfont site with a lot of really interesting instruments!

I started from there anyways. Be warned though a lot of it is somewhat mediocre if not downright crap. Happy hunting!
